  • May 20th : Archeops First Light at CRTBT with 3 of the 6 bolometers provided by QMW and Caltech
  • June 2nd : A small  photometry report based on Transmission curves for channel 1 from QMW (back to back horn  and  cold filters) as shown on the figure
  • June 2nd :  Archeops simulations, quick look and online data processing from Aubourg, Couchot, Delabrouille et al.
  • June 3rd : First light of the instrument (2 mirrors + cryostat mounted on the inner frame of the gondola) in front of the calibration chopped source
  • June 4rth : Tentative list of travel plans for the Trapani June-July 1999 test flight campaign
  • June 9th : At night, the stellar sensor was tested in front of the ISN laser pulsed source placed on the Neron's hill 1km away. A report on that positive test will soon be posted.
  • June 10th : Failure of detection of the submillimetre source on the Neron. The jump of temperature between the mountain and the sky is well detected with a beam smaller than 20 arcmin.

  • June 14th : Packing in Grenoble
